Dorlinda Ann Potteiger, 51, of Ephrata, has been charged with the highest rate of blood alcohol and DUI general impairment on Monday.

Potteiger drove through an area where an unrelated crash had occurred on July, 31.

Her car picked up a piece of vehicle debris from that crash and dragged it along the road, under her car, until she was stopped by police.

When officers arrived she was found to be under the influence of alcohol. She provided blood samples that indicated her blood alcohol content was 0.223%.

Her preliminary hearing has been scheduled with The Honorable David L. Ashworth on Nov. 18 at 8:45 a.m.
